Freedom Isn't Free Patriotic Sign
Freedom Isn't Free Patriotic Sign
A tribute to everyone who has served, and to the families who stood behind them. A waving American flag and the words "Freedom Isn't Free" are carved deep into solid pine.
The surface is finished with Shou Sugi Ban, a traditional Japanese technique that chars the wood to bring out its grain. A whitewash overlay settles into the carving so the stars, stripes and lettering stand out, and a durable polyurethane topcoat seals and protects it all.
Carved in Oklahoma by a U.S. Air Force veteran, it makes a meaningful gift for veterans, service members, military families and first responders, and a proud addition to a home office, den or entryway.
Every piece is charred and finished by hand, so its grain and tone are unique to this sign. It arrives ready to hang, with mounting hardware on the back. The easel is shown for photography only and is not included.
