Purpleheart Wood Twist Pen
Purpleheart Wood Twist Pen
A twist ballpoint pen turned by hand from purpleheart, a hardwood whose deep violet color is completely natural. Gold-tone hardware sets off the wood's warm color.
Turned in Oklahoma by a U.S. Air Force veteran, it's a small, everyday piece of craftsmanship and a thoughtful gift for a desk, a graduate or anyone who still likes to write things down.
Every pen is turned from its own piece of wood, so the grain and color are unique to this one. Purpleheart's color mellows gradually with age and light.
